Getting there with my gigography now, the list of all the gigs I was at, from 1987 up to about now.
It's a natural step from my Best gigs of all time post.
Well that's the theory, but there's A LOT missing.
I have added details from the big bag of old gig tickets that I gathered while I was in London, and a box of old concert tickets and things from Mum + Dad's loft.
Also got lots of gaps regarding bands seen at festivals, they'll prob'ly stay missing, it's so hard to remember. There's a lot missing where I've lost tickets or never had them, most of the guestlist actions during my NME + Popex years + that.
Yeah I know very geeky, let's let that go though, I'm having fun remembering this stuff.
Probably I've not started scanning the tickets in yet Of course I have scanned in the tickets now[^But I've lost the bag of tickets before I scanned them all in!]...

I saw them once more on this tour, in Reading uni / poly I think, can't find the date though... Hmm found the ticket now + it's in March, so probably not even the same tour.…
Thu Dec 19 1991
Not at all confident about this one, though I know I saw Atom Seed a lot more than I have a record for here. I found this flyer in my scrapbook of old tickets, and know I saw Atom Seed for the first time New Years Eve 1990, so if I attended this one it can't be 1990. Man alive this is worse flakier research than some of my tree straw grasping. With support from Poisoned [Electrick Head](https://www.google.com/search?q=Poisoned%20%5BElectrick%5D(%2Fwiki%2F%23electricity)%20Head), whether I was there or not.…

plus Captain America and Shonen Knife. I got the t-shirt and everything, wish I still had it. Wore it once down the Air Balloon (just to let everyone know I was there) and then gave it away, gah.Birmingham Hummingbird is now part of the Academy. This whole gig is on the youtube[^Removed old youtube.com/watch?v=135liV_mlEM link here.].…

Plus LA Guns + Love / Hate. The latter announced a "secret" gig they were doing the next day in London, I should have gone they were one of my fave bands of the day.Just found this, over thirty years later:_After playing at the London Arena, Jizzy got into a drunken fight with Skid Row singer, Sebastian Bach, which briefly led to the band being ejected from the tour._Amazing I went to see Nirvana in the same week as this.…

Found the ticket now! I went to the gig on my own then got the last train up to Rugby, where I was staying for college while on my HNC with Nixdorf Much stage diving, one of my favourite ever gigs. I can't find many details online about this gig. I will dig out the ticket, see if there are more clues.Thinking about this nearly 25 years later I'm not quite sure how I did this. Must have been a Sunday night, so I'd have left home in Portchester on the Sunday afternoon and got the train up as usual to Rugby, via London. So decided to stop in London and go to this gig, + then carry on up to Rugby after.I do remember it being great, + being stage diving crazy. I have a clear memory of being up on the stage + preparing to throw myself back into the crowd yet again, when a young couple (a boy + a girl) grabbed my shoe; they were annoyed at the stagediving, as I would be now. I remember even what I was wearing, a t-shirt with my green plaid shirt over the top, with skinny black jeans …

Izzy Stradlin's last ever show. Support Nine Inch Nails and Skid Row - Sebastian Bach swore too much and got them barred for life.Probably got the coach up for this one.Found the ticket now, stuck in an old photo album with flyers + things.…
Sat Aug 31 1991
AC/DC, Metallica, Motley Crue, Queensryche, + the Black Crowes. A pretty special line up at the top of the bill, shame it was the shortest Donington bill ever. Got a coach up from Portsmouth, everyone on the coach brought a metal mix tape with them for the coach driver to play (remember cassette tapes?), every single one had Enter Sandman on it.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEFcHOwZLO8I've had this one misdated as the fifth of August for a long time, sorry about that!…

Fri Aug 02 1991
plus PM Dawn. A Nixdorf friend's birthday, the only gig we could find in town to go to. Bootsy Collins played bass for them at this show.…
Sun Jul 14 1991
Rock Power magazine presents... plus The One Thing, don't remember them. No hard evidence I was here so until I have proof I was somewhere else on this day I'm claiming it. I saw them so many times that I don't have on this website that I'm sure it starts to balance out. I do remember being given The Beyond ticket (below) at an Atom Seed gig at the Borderline a few days before the gig. So that might tie in with this one, if not there was another Atom Seed gig at the Borderline some time around this date.Songs from this gig are on the "Get In Line" 12'' single, which I have. Some footage here that could be this gig…
Thu Jun 27 1991
Ah, past their peak, still a treat to see them at a venue this size.
Wed Jun 26 1991
Was on a work placement with Nixdorf in Cambridge for the summer, this was the only thing I went out to while I was there I am sure. "Little Lost Somewhere" tour, with support on this date from Junk Yard.…
Mon Jun 24 1991
Second time seeing them here, Sinead O'Connor was there too. This is the programme from the first concert, I was way too cool to be buying souvenir concert programmes by this stage wasn't I..?Got a few of my records signed at this gig I think, and Kerry got _my_ t-shirt that she had borrowed signed, + Wendy James wrote Kez's name on it.What was it that made this band particularly appearl to teenage boys?…
Thu Jun 20 1991
All girl metal band, I don't remember much about them. I did have the poster on my wall at home for ages. We used to go to The Pit in Portsmouth every Saturday night after The Air Balloon.…

Sat May 04 1991
I attended a few of these... Definitely this one I just found the ticket stubs.I met Richard O'Brien at one of these, was it this one?Just found four tickets for this thing, so maybe it was the organised work coach trip from when I worked at Siemens Nixdorf in Bracknell.…
Thu Apr 04 1991
First time I saw them. Just caught up with a friend who was there too (and who I'd not seen for over ten years, he says_Alice In Chains opened, followed by The Almighty at the Poole Arts Centre gig '91 (if I remember correctly)_…
Sun Mar 24 1991
Reading University Student Union.Saw them in Portsmouth this year too, so this was the first time I saw them I think. I went with Stu again from Nixdorf. We were doing gig swaps, he liked the NME bands more than I did. He bought a t-shirt but it got stolen from the changing room.I have a vague memory the t-shirt from the tour had a glow in the dark design on the back. Everyone was wearing the t-shirt and straining over their own shoulder to see what it looked like. Instead of looking at someone elses t-shirt. Everyone was wearing the t-shirt.…
Tue Mar 12 1991
Plus The Almighty. I came back from where I was working in Bracknell just for the night for this gig (though it was also Kerry's birthday). Ended up getting thrown out of downstairs standing, where I'd snuck in with an upstairs seating ticket. ThoThey played two nights at Hammersmith Odeon right after this.…
Mon Feb 18 1991
Plus Godflesh and Bomb Everything (AKA) Bomb Disneyland. Got a video of this gig, you can see me stagediving on it.You'd prob'ly not see a gig like this these days. There was local controversy + talk of the council banning them from appearing. Someone sent some strippers along to appear with the band to stir up a bit more shock to report on.The date on the ticket is wrong as the gig was rescheduled, again related to the local council not letting them play.…
Thu Jan 24 1991
PWEI, plus my favourite band of the time Atom Seed.Went with Stu who I also went to Nirvana ect ect with when we were both working at Nixdorf.Found the ticket now!Looks like this was on the same day as the Rock day of the Brits weekend at Wembley Arena.…

Sat Jan 12 1991
Oh wow the Donington Monsters of Rock that year... Most of the best gigs I went to were in this year. Imagine if I had kept this standard up?
