Getting there with my gigography now, the list of all the gigs I was at, from 1987 up to about now.
It's a natural step from my Best gigs of all time post.
Well that's the theory, but there's A LOT missing.
I have added details from the big bag of old gig tickets that I gathered while I was in London, and a box of old concert tickets and things from Mum + Dad's loft.
Also got lots of gaps regarding bands seen at festivals, they'll prob'ly stay missing, it's so hard to remember. There's a lot missing where I've lost tickets or never had them, most of the guestlist actions during my NME + Popex years + that.
Yeah I know very geeky, let's let that go though, I'm having fun remembering this stuff.
At least I've not started scanning the tickets in yet Of course I have scanned in the tickets now[^But I've lost the bag of tickets before I scanned them all in!]...

Ha, AWFUL christian rock. I was accompanying a friend who was reviewing or something.
Camden Crawl type thing, can't remember where we went or who we saw right now.…
Free gig, recorded for XFM. Beset by tech problems, I think Bernard kicked the barrier down in frustration.…
Looks like the venue of this one is wrong. I don't remember this Arab Strap gig, so don't remember where it was, + have found no record of it now. I can look in my big stack of NMEs, though sure I'd stopped buying it by this point. I was in London, so probably there. I get a vague feeling it was ULU.…
Blur headlined, not a very strong lineup I don't think. I was working mostly, and managed to lose my first mobile phone that work lent me.…
Reading warmup, got very drunk on vodka red bulls, fell in a bush, and you can see me on the South Bank Show Special that was filmed there. Off to Reading the next day.Definitely one of my favourite ever gigs.I heard about tickets somehow and Clare (who was a student at the time and lived in New Cross went and got the tickets. Was a lot easier than a warm-up gig like this might have been these days!I was working at nme.com at the time + was heading off to Reading the next day. Not sure if I lost my laptop or phone at the gig or if I lost them at the festival over the next few days. One or the other thoug, was a chaotic time.We had a few drinks before the gig...…
I remember Mel C and James Brown, so no-one who was any good.Did not pay to get in, I think I was back working with NME again. Maybe the time we slept in the portacabin thing backstage.…
A play, a birthday treat, long parkrun, had Art Malik in it + it was Frank Skinner's first night.…
I only remember REM I hope i wrote more on popex at the time that I have found later...Was this the one where Stewart Lee's gig was a bit ruined by a heckler laughing sarcastically? I think I watched more comedy than music at this one.…
MTV Five Night Stand... wish I could find more details of these online, I know the support acts were good too.…

Belle + Sebastian ect ect, the forerunner to All Tomorrow's Parties.I remember Divine Comedy also playing, but Flaming Lips, Snow Patrol, Mogwai, Camera Obscura + more played + Pulp DJ'd..Got very drunk.…
A work freebie from NME, we nearly didn't get in because I couldn't prove I was who I was claiming to be (I wasn't). I basically put a bribe in the charity collection bucket and they let it go.…
