PaulyGigography2003 ≫ Suede

Astoria 157 Charing Cross Road, London WC2H 0EN

Last gig ever! They announced they were splitting up before this gig came around. Played some great sets, the gig seemingly got chopped short, we left to the ghostly strains of "We'll Meet Again"... I hope we do.

UPDATE: we did, Suede reformed, and we saw them again.

💬 Suede @ London Astoria

I was at this one, more from this year in Paul's gig history for 2003. I have seen Suede at least 14 times; Phoenix 1995 @ Avon Park Raceway (1995), Shepherds Bush Empire (1999), Sound Republic ('99), V99 @ Hylands Park (1999), David Bowie @ Old Trafford Cricket Ground ('02), Electric Ballroom ('02), The Scala (2002), Glastonbury (2003), Astoria (2003), Royal Albert Hall ('10), Suede "Suede" @ Brixton Academy ('11), Suede "Dog Man Star" @ Brixton Academy (2011), Southampton Guildhall (2019), + Suede + Manics @ Dreamland (2024). Part of every gig I went to from '87 to 2024. It's an obvious step from my Best Gigs Ever blog post. Yeah I know very nerdy, let's let that go though, I'm enjoying reminiscing about this stuff.
