PaulyGigography1996 ≫ Carter USM at Feet First

Koko , 1a Camden High Street, London, NW1 0JH

One of my earlier gigs in London and part of "three gigs in one night". Now what on earth were the other two gigs? The second one was Orlando I think, but not sure I even actually went in, I just went there after my first gig because I said I would, saw it was already underway and did not go in. What could the first gig have been and where?

Feet First was a regular indie night at Camden Palace. There's a good chance this gig is now listed as being at Koko, the name for Camden Palace since 2004.

I had this down as the 12th of the 10th for ages, it was the 10th of the 12th though, found an old Melody Maker gig guide now.

I was at this one, more from this year in my gig history for 1996. I have seen Carter USM at least three times; Essential Music Festival @ Stanmer Park ('95), Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine @ Portsmouth Pyramids (1995), + Carter USM at Feet First @ Koko (1996), though I still have some bragging tagging to do so this may go up. Part of all the gigs I was at from 1987 to 2026. A natural step from my Best Gigs Ever blog post. Yeah I know it's very nerdy, let's let that go though, I'm enjoying reminiscing about this stuff.

Other gigs at Koko I have been to are Fighting Cocks (2000), Rachel Stamp? ('00), and My Life Story (1996).
