Super Furry Animals, Kula Shaker, Menswear, Echobelly, Marion, Chumbawamba, Bis and more... missed David Devant, but I did trek there with 16 people in my bus.
I was at this one, more from this year in my gigography for 1996. I saw Super Furry Animals at least 15 times; Essential Festival @ Stanmer Park ('96), Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms (1996), Mean Fiddler ('96), Manic Street Preachers @ Brixton Academy (1996), Astoria (1997), Glastonbury (1997), Shepherds Bush Empire ('98), Astoria (1999), Brixton Academy (1999), Reading Festival ('00), Forum (2001), Ocean ('02), New Order @ Finsbury Park ('02), Stephen Malkmus @ Royal Festival Hall ('03), + Glastonbury ('03). Part of every gig I was at from 1987 to 2024. An obvious step from my Best Gigs Ever blog post. Yeah I know it's very geeky, let's let that go though, I'm enjoying reminiscing about this stuff.
