If you look at the website for East Meon Parish records you will see the children of John and Mary spread over 2 eras. If you look at the entry for 1755 to 1774 you will see they are 'of South Farm'. The same farm as Samuel + Mary Randall lived. Also it mentions a William and Jane 'of Parke', if you look at a street map of East Meon + findSouth Farm, you will see Parke Farm above it. John + Mary also had a son named Randal Clarke. Brothers + sisters of John Clarke wed as follows, Samuel Clarke wed a Mary Dash, Katherine Clarke married a Henry Dash."2; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">As James Clarke's daughter had the middle name Dash, it feels more logical to me that Samuel Clarke + Marry Dash are the parents of James Clarke. Would you use yr brothers wife's original name as a middle name, or your own wife's middle name?
