PaulyGigography2010 ≫ Totally Acoustic

The Lamb , 94 Lamb's Conduit Street, London, WC1N 3LZ

MJ Hibbett's Totally Acoustic night, with Fakebit Polytechnic and Jenny Lockyer 1.

  1. Just reading on Mark's website many years later in 2025, he said With all that done proceedings proceeded as usual to a bit of an old chat. We were BLESSED to have the presence of Mr Paul Clarke aka Nice Guy Pauly aka Pauly Popex, and as we REMINISCED at some volume about The Early Days Of The Interweb we realised that, actually, much of the very earliest UK Interweb people were here in the room. Still going to pubs, still talking a load of old bollocks, still shouting about the precise moment that Belle & Sebastian stopped being brilliant, and still having a whole lot of fun. Long may it continue!...

💬 Back in London today

I went to this one, more from this year in my gigography for 2010. I saw MJ Hibbett at least 16 times; UK Indie gig @ Oxford Point (1998), Bull and Gate (2000), Bull and Gate ('00), Scalarama 2 @ The Scala (2000), Bull + Gate ('00), Fortuna Pop Christmas Party @ Bull and Gate ('00), The Garage ('01), The Windmill ('03), 12 Bar Club ('04), 12 Bar Club (2004), Fighting Cocks @ The Lark In The Park (2005), 12 Bar Club ('05), Totally Acoustic @ The Lamb ('10), Totally Acoustic @ The Lamb ('10), MJ Hibbett album launch @ The King + Queen (2022), and Totally Acoustic @ The King + Queen (2024). Part of every gig I went to from 1987 to 2025. It's a natural step from my Best Gigs Ever blog post. Yeah I know very geeky, let's let that go though, I'm having fun reminiscing about these things.
