An all night indie club thing at Brixton Academy, severl of the promoters got together to put on a super club type thing. Tube home at about 6am.
I know I was at a gig before this too, I think it was at the Astoria, will have to find out who. Googling turns up My Life Story, though possibly a short set / personal appearance at the gay club after. In my head it was David Devant, as I know someone from Southampton who had come up for it but they weren't big enough to headline the Astoria then were they? They did support My Life Story at some point, so that could have been it.

I was at this one, more from this year in Paul's gig history for 1997. Part of a list of every gig I went to from '87 to 2024. It's a natural progression from my Best gigs of all time blog post. Yeah I know a bit geeky, let's let that go though, I'm having fun remembering these things.
