Somewhere, can't remember where this gig was but I mentioned it on popex...
Aha, got it, reminded by this piece in the NME! It was not even just one gig this day, it was two. The first one at Borders and then a later one at The Wag Club, Wardour Street, Soho. And of course I got the date wrong, originally having this down as the 21st, when I clearly said on Thursday 20th it was on Saturday.
To coincide with the single, the band have announced two London shows at the Wag Club on July 22, and Borders Bookshop (August 1).
The Borders gig is free, with the band on stage at 6.15pm, while the Wag Club show is part of the popular Blow Up club night.

I was at this one, more from this year in my gigography for 2000. I have seen David Devant at least TWO times; Phoenix Festival @ Avon Park Raceway ('96), and David Devant and his Spirit Wife @ O'Neills (2000), though I still have some bragging tagging to do so this may go up. Part of every gig I was at from 1987 to 2026. A natural step from my Best Gigs Ever weblog post. Yeah I know very nerdy, let's let that go though, I'm having fun reminiscing about these things.
