Reading Festival Reading, Berkshire
Blur headlined, not a very strong lineup I don't think. I was working mostly, and managed to lose my first mobile phone that work lent me.
Can't remember what bands I saw, surely I would have seen the Dandy Warhols? But look at the lineup poster, would I not have sought out Snuff and Suicidal Tendencies? Don't remember doing so. Maybe I was working too hard. Coldplay bottom of the bill on the second stage too.

I was at this one, more from this year in Paul's gig history for 1999. I saw Blur probably 11 times, and Blur related acts 4 times; Glastonbury (1994), V Festival @ Hylands Park (1997), Glastonbury ('98), Goldsmiths College (1999), Reading Festival ('99), The Brighton Centre (1999), Graham Coxon @ Highbury Garage ('00), Gorillaz @ Fabric ('01), Stephen Malkmus @ Royal Festival Hall (2003), London Astoria ('03), + Damon Albarn @ Neighbourhood ('03). Part of every gig I was at from '87 to 2026. It's an obvious step from my Best Gigs Ever blog post. Yeah I know it's very nerdy, let's let that go though, I'm enjoying reminiscing about this stuff.
