Wedding Present + Credit To The Nation + Senseless Things. I know I went, I seem to remember one band did not though. One more band advertised somewhere, ah not S⁎M⁎A⁎S⁎H ¹ it was Adorable ², think it was them that did not show, were they replaced by someone?

Just found this advertised in an NME of 9/7/94 too.

Very close to my birthday. Coincidentally I spent this same day of the year in a different Walpole Park, in Ealing. This one was Gosport though, town of my birth. I was also at this same Gosport event the same day the following year.

S⁎M⁎A⁎S⁎H were to pull out of the same festival in 1995, no wonder I mixed them up.
That is the name of the band.
And possibly not.
Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms.

I went to this one, more from this year in Paul's gig history for 1994. I saw Wedding Present probably 6 times; Gosport Festival 94 @ Walpole Park (Gosport) ('94), Phoenix 1995 @ Avon Park Raceway (1995), Reading Festival (1996), Finsbury Park Powerhaus (Sir George Robey) (1996), ULU ('97), + The Booking Hall (2017), though I still have some bragging tagging to do so this may go up. Part of all the gigs I was at from 1987 to 2026. An obvious step from my Best Gigs Ever blog post. Yeah I know it's very geeky, let's let that go though, I'm enjoying reminiscing about these things.
