Fom her mother's house at Colaba-Grange Lane, Netley Abbey, they boarded the Titanic at Southampton as 2nd class passengers.Their destination was San Francisco California, they bought ticket No 2003 for GBP26. They were going to visit her sister, Mrs Young who lived at 142 Ox Point Richmond California. Ada survived the sinking and was rescued by the Carpathia in lifeboat 14 .
