Twenty years ago today I was at The Montrose Avenue

Kings College

This is not a place, it was a gig, it was indie pop featuring Matt Everitt from the Menswear. This is before I got to know him when we both worked at Channelfly so we were just there as punters. I remember they were very poppy, and I'm sure the singer of the band rather posed with a guitar and didn't actually play it very much. There was a girl in the crowd with roller skates on, surely a health and safety nightmare.
