Nice day for a bike ride

Went to Hythe on my bike at lunch. 10 minutes to get there with a light breeze in my face, was nice in this heat though. Only 5 minutes back along the seafront, with that same light breeze behind me, very nice. The other 45 minutes was spent queueing in the post office behind all the old people who are only there to chat. Yeah I know that will be me soon enough.

One guy in the queue who was not incredibly old was loudly drawing two grand in cash from the euro exchange counter, he’s off on a nice holiday then!

Realised another thing that stopped me sleeping so well was puzzling over a work thing that happened at the end of the day, something brok. It was a good break, kind of, as I wasn’t involved in the breaking but I was involved in the fixing. But because of me being visible during the fixing, and the comms that went out about what the issue was I think it looks like I was involved in the breaking, gah.

It’s still diet day today.
