Southampton Guildhall Civic Centre, Southampton, Hampshire SO14 7LP
Plus 60ft Dolls who brilliantly smashed the place up. Bis were meant to play too. There was another band. Kenickie were also part of this tour, but I don't think it was them. I see Symposium played with them on the London date, and Jocasta at the Manchester one.

I went to this one, more from this year in my gig history for 1996. I have seen Ash at least 14 times; Glastonbury (1995), Southampton Guildhall (1996), The Fall @ Mean Fiddler (1997), Glastonbury (1997), V Festival @ Hylands Park (1997), Shepherds Bush Empire ('98), Glastonbury (1999), Mean Fiddler ('01), The Elbow Room ('01), Reading Festival (2001), Brixton Academy ('01), Glastonbury ('02), Reading Festival ('02), + The Darkness @ Portsmouth Guildhall (2025). Part of all the gigs I remember going to from 1987 to 2026. It's a natural progression from my Best Gigs Ever blog post. Yeah I know very nerdy, let's let that go though, I'm enjoying reminiscing about this stuff.
