Not sure if I have checked the British Newspaper Archive 1 before, but it is great! Scanned and OCR'd old newspapers. A brilliant resource for family history researchers.

Using it initially for searching for mentions of Joshua Clark 2 that I mentioned the other day, and also The King and Queen pub 3 that was owned by the family. What a treasure trove of info, though hard to read.

I got here from this great article 4 about historical mentions of Richard Herring.
