This record1, a transcription of the book I linked to above says "Barstow Street, York Road", so was it off York Road? If so might it be the same shop mentioned here2 owned by John Clark. Is John Clark the father of Joshua Clark? Have we gone back another generation? Bit of a leap maybe...
