Blog2026 ≫ Parkrun 227

Nice out today. I had unset my alarm for some reason, but was awake about the right time anyway. Luckily T1 had set his own alarm so he could get to work. Dropped him off (making him finish his breakfast in the car) and I was in good time today.

Folkestone parkrun results for event #538. Your time was 00:25:55.

Congratulations on completing your 227th parkrun and your 206th at Folkestone parkrun today. You finished in 148th place out of a field of 433 parkrunners. You were the 119th male and came 12th in your age category VM50-54. Take a look at this week's full set of results on our website. Your PB at Folkestone parkrun remains 00:20:50. Your best time this year remains 00:24:35.

I slept well last night too, this is unheard of for a Friday night! Went to the pub as usual from about half five. A lovely time, and a) I did not get a takeaway on the way home, and b) I did not stay up late drinking more when I got home. Well, I had one glass of the new wine. I'd walked into Hythe earlier to collect it. Anyway all this good behaviour has led to a good sleep score of seventy-seven, which you can see on my slightly confusing health stats graph. See last Saturday it took a dive on the Friday down to thirty-one. I think these scores are out of a hundred. Also now I am doubting, was that score of seventy-seven for the night before? I'll update again and see...

Not much going on for the rest of the day, collect T1 from work, go to two supermarkets, get some goodies in to enjoy during Eurovision this evening.

Light rain showers and a moderate breeze, 9 - 13℃.
