Went to bed early with a view to getting up early. Didn't sleep that well, but OK. Got up on time and hit the treadmill. There was a weather warning, potentially snow on the way but we saw none of it.
Today's treadmilling wasn't that slow for a treadmill run, treadmill runs are always slower than running outside. But I see it is my second worst Jan 2nd ever! The only one worse is 2020 when it looks like I must have walked or something. Compare it to Jan 1st 2020, it looks like I was out at the Inn Doors the night before, then got up, cycled to parkrun, ran just about my best time ever and then cycled back again. The next day there is no run, a treadmill run, and did the battery die? It isn't fully recorded. So that means today was probably actually my slowest 2nd Jan ever. I wonder if I can track down that missing run?
I said I was going to lose this belly. It's unlikely today as I'm having pie, chips, and beans for tea. We had a look through the freezer and we have a bit too much food stocked up so need to work through that. I tried to set up the Garmin scales again, to monitor the progress, but then the batteries died. Then the rechargeble batteries were flat. Maybe it's a sign? I'll get there.
Pay day today, no spending spree, topped up premium bonds though. Going to Ashford tomorrow.
