Work still very busy, and weather still very cold. I thought it was going to warm up a bit by lunchtime, so saved today's run until then. And it wasn't much warmer, but it was above freezing, and it was lovely and bright and sunny.
Hard work again this afternoon, it's all good though, all interesting stuff. Next phase of the project I'm on goes live on Monday, but I don't think anyone is that excited about it. Everyone's waiting for phase three, which is in another month, and there's a lot of work to do before then. More work than is possible to do in that amount of time possibly.
Went to Tesco after work to get some non drinking treats and snacks and something for tea. I got some bargain burgers to go in some seedy bagel thins and it was delicious. Pizza for the boys and Clare's usual chicken and salad.
Tomorrow the boys are round grandpa's, so after parkrun Clare and I are off to Canterbury for the day. Clare's mail order coat arrived, the one that was not in stock in London, and she doesn't like how it fits. So that has been returned and we'll be looking for an alternative in Canterbury.
Also in good shopping - and buy good I mean buying something and getting a refund for it - T2 bought a Pokemon-themed case for his mobile phone off Amazon, and it turned out to be sent from Spain. He'd chosen the wrong case, for the wrong model of phone, so we filled out the "I'd like to return this" form, and got the result "we'll refund you, don't bother sending it back". Nice. Would be even nicer if it was something that anyone wanted, but who liked Pokemon and has an IPhone 11?
Traitors on TV is making me want to scream, the others are really into it, but the people on there sound so stupid. I'm sure it's just how people speak these days, and I'm sure I sound stupid too, but literally I like literally don't like it, literally. I'm waiting for it to finish so Clare and I can watch another Vera or something.
A clear sky and light winds, -2 - 4℃.
