Blog2023 ≫ I get up when I want, except when there's an extreme weather warning

We're BACK then, from our little tour of Portchester, Bath, and Center Parcs Longleat. I mostly keep quiet about these things in advance, and it seems to have worked, we got back to an unburgled house. A house that was nearly washed away by rain, but apart from that safe.

I am officially sacking off parkrun today, the rain was quite intense again this morning though it seems to have paused just in time for the runners.

Got lots of things to cover in upcoming posts, including birthdays, Costa Coffee, Hythe Waterfront, theatre, headphones, vinyl, Parkrun, Portchester, passports, exercise, Sinead O'Connor, Stonehenge, Bath, real ale, pizza, cider, vegan Thai food, cinema, mini golf, new clothes, the Roman Baths, swimming, swimming, swimming, pool, badminton, escape room, bingo, vegan Italian food, vegan Mexican food, bowling, ROBOT WAITERS, fragile apple watches, more swimming, flooding, RCS messaging, and going back to the Inn Doors.

First though, an amusing art story, someone has attached a toilet to the side of a bridge.

Estimated 1182 cups of coffee from my espresso machine1 probably comes to £1.25 a cup (including actual coffee and now servicing1 so not the 'leccy).
