Blog2023 ≫ Runuary day ten

Now I can call it, runuary day ten done. 5km on the treadmill at lunch, and then a bowl of nachos to celebrate. I made a chilli in the slow cooker, enough for two family dinners, but I saved a micro-portion. I already had the vegan melting cheese from the weekend, so banged it all together in the microwave.

Our slow cooker has a crack in the bowl, more than one crack. I think it's leaking. It has had quite a lot of use, it is getting on a bit now. Does this mean I have the perfect opportunity to get one of these all in one ninja cooker jobs1. Does it do slow cooking too? Or would I pressure cook everything instead of slow cooking? Need to work out how much space it takes up, but as we carry the slow cooker up and down between utility room and kitchen anyway2 then this could live downstairs when not in use. I kind of want an air fryer even though I know it will get used about as often as the heater drying rack, and be about as cost effective as the heated drying rack. If I can get one that is combined with something we use then all good...

5k: Five km, just over three miles to you.

runuary: Running at least 5k every day for the month of January.
