Parkrun!
Work stayed busier than I would have liked right up to 5pm yesterday. Then, boys still out, Clare not yet back, I braved the rain and headed down to the Inn Doors. My two main drinking buddies are saving themselves for today, and I still don't know if they mean going out this afternoon and then home again tonight, or intending to stay out to midnight. The former I hope, but I will fit in. Other friends were in the Inn Doors, a good time was had, then chips on the way back for tea by about eight o'clock.
We watched the rest of Glass Onion when I got in, very good. A very modern setting for an Agatha Christie style mystery, and a million billion cameos in it. I will have to watch it again to catch more of the detail.
Definitely not feeling it for parkrun today. It's still wet and windy out, and I'm not feeling 100%, but then have not felt 100% since the summer. I am not going to walk in today, hence a few spare minutes to have a coffee and write this. Going to drive in, which feels very lazy and not in the spirit of it. When I started doing parkrun I'd drive in every time though. In the summer I like to cycle in, usually I like to make the time to walk in, but today no.
I really only mentioned having a coffee so some new coffee stats would appear at the bottom of this post. I am wondering if I should reinstate the covid graph again. I hope not. The number of deaths in the UK seems to be at 198937 according to the stats I would be making the graph from. You hear the numbers are rising again, and more people have flu. I know a lot of people who are off ill.
Happy New Year if I don't speak to you again. Here's to plans and resolutions for 2003. I am going to start running more and generally get a little bit fitter. We'll be able to see if that happens as I constantly post the stats and graphs on here. I'm also planning to jazz up the study a little bit. I want a feature wall and to move the bikes and scooters out of there. It's not bad right now but I want to make it a slightly more comfortable place to work. Can I move the fridge out of there even? And what about those curtains I took down in the lounge. I still like them, can I use them in there? Cover one wall, kid myself there is really a window in there? We'll see.
Time to run.
