Ashford parkrun results for event #371. Your time was 00:22:52.

Congratulations on completing your 87th parkrun and your 1st at Ashford parkrun today. You finished in 33rd place and were the 28th Male out of a field of 240 parkrunners and you came 4th in your age category VM45-49. Take a look at this week's full set of results on our website. Well done on your first parkrun. We have set this as your PB.

Was a good one. Ashford is a bit like Whiteley, in that it's laps round a park, it feels like it's all slightly downhill somehow, I do better than at home, and also I wouldn't want to live there.

Yesterday I ran in the morning just to fetch the car, then we went swimming. Well, to the Stour Centre in Ashford, where there is larking about and waterslides. There's also a lazy river, that's my favourite bit. Better to be buffeted round there lots of times than queue for the waterslides I think, but we did a bit of both. I went to Tesco three times for one reason and another, the first being to get meal deals on the way to swimming, which we ate in the park after swimming. Then we stopped in the Tesco Extra in Ashford. Thing two grumped around with me, he normally likes a Tesco but he's sickening for something I think. Thing one stayed in the car, for a bit, until we took too long then he came to find us. Leaving the car open with the key in the ignition. We were lucky to come back to it.

I was going to take them to the fair after this, so had deliberately not bought any cold things, so as not to leave them in the hot car. They were not in the mood for it, slight illness making the little one disagreeable so I just took them home. Then drove the beetle to Tesco for trip number three, got things for tea, and went to the Inn Doors. Then back to eat our tea.

We heard there was an altercation at The Fountain last weekend, Clare says it was a "section eighteen" involving an air ambulance. This means violent wounding with intent I think. At the pub they had heard someone was stabbed. On our doorstep.

Today I think I'm taking thing two to the walk in centre, though I'm sure they'll say just keep up the calpol and it'll go away. Means I will likely miss going round to Dom's house, and he has made a vegan paella especially.
