Blog2022 ≫ Thing two has tonsilitis

Took him to the walk in centre. Receptionist says it's not a walk in centre any more, only a walk in minor injuries unit and we have to call 111 for everything else. There's no one here so the triage nurse saw us anyway, and made an appointment for 5 minutes time. NHS is so broken. Was all that clapping for nothing? Doctor says it's viral tonsilitis, he gave something to stop them being so inflamed. Poor little feller is quite under the weather.

This means we are now not going to Dom and Lisa's, where they were making paella. They now no longer have to make the vegan version, but she has apparently made a vegan cake which I'm looking forward to receiving a slice of when Clare and thing one return.
