Didn't sleep so well again last night, hoping that is the last of it though. Well, I think I didn't sleep well, I think I was awake a lot, but maybe I was just dreaming as I woke up quite fresh this morning. I stayed in bed as long as I could but I knew I head to be back from my run in time for Clare to go out to her pump class and help her dad take his decorations down. I did basically the same slow 5km to Hythe and back. I think I'm going to improve as the month goes on, but I'm way way way slower than I normally am. I have beenabsolutely knackered by this push-up challenge, no way I'm going to get close to it. 2022 push-ups in 2022 maybe.
We took nearly all our decorations down yesterday. The light up reindeers are still on the balcony right now, I'm gearing up to that. They're a lot easier to take down than to put up. They look OK from a distance but they're a pain and they're covered in glitter which will come off everywhere.
Before we went swimming yesterday we did get the boys to try on their school uniforms. Thing one suddenly claims his PE shoes have not fitted him all term so he's not been wearing them. The school say he had to have trainers and astroturf football boots, but everyone just wears the trainers it seems so we are only buying a new pair of them. There is quite a bit of stuff that we were advised to get at before starting which just does not get used. I tried to get new trainers in JD Sports as it's a slightly nicer experience but he didn't see any, so we went in Sports Direct instead. He's happy with what he got.
I have moved my coffee filter from "single wall" to "dual wall". The dual wall one is meant for pre-ground coffee, I'm relinquishing some control here, but it will also give me more consistent results. I have to admit it is really for the pro-barrista and I'm a semi-pro at best 1
Today I have to do a proper shop actually in Tesco as we don't have a delivery due until next weekend.
Exercise stats are still being imported. I'm stil about six months behind as I have to do it so slowly.

Guessing 24 cups of coffee from my espresso machine 2 probably comes to £29.80 a cup (including actual coffee and servicing 2 so not the 'leccy).
5k: Five km, about three miles in old money.
