Sunday morning we went to a great car meet down at Port Solent. Loads of great cars, some classics, some customs, some modern street racers, trucks, bikes, all sorts. About half a dozen beetles, and all looking really nice in the hot sun. I think there were a couple there that dad would have bought. The boys did not enjoy it at all, I'm not sure why. If it was looking at pictures of the cars on a screen they'd have loved it.
We walked around Port Solent and I took them to the park. Until they started throwing sand at each other. They were not really the best behaved this day.
We had a lovely roast dinner and quite a lazy sit in the garden after that. Nice to be here and not be thinking of leaving right after lunch, as we had a couple of extra days.
