Not quite half way through the month am I, tomorrow will be the actual midway point, I'll be on my way back after that. Today, a normal 5k, round Hythe. Not too windy, not too wet. No sign of the threatened snow, not even any ice. I was back for breakfast, plenty of time for work. Did not go out walking at lunch or after work, trying to keep it to one outing a day.
NME Brat Bus tour twenty-four years ago today, I was on tour with the NME, in either Manchester or Leeds. And then tomorrow I was on tour either in Leeds or Manchester. None of the bands were good. I could look this up but it's not really a highlight.
Clare's last day off of her seven week break today. She says she achieved more than I did in my seven months of furlough, but I'm not having that. How many times did she paint the downstairs toilet, eh?
I thought we were at the coronavirus peak already and the numbers were starting to look better? The "R" number at least is coming down to a more manageable level in London. I don't want London getting too safe though as I'm not really in a hurry to start commuting until I really have to. Working from home is great.
