Blog2020 ≫ Dry-vegan-runuary day twenty-two

This is about three quarters of the way through the month now isn't it? And still going strong! Up and out at half six this morning, a run around Sandgate, very much in the dark. My headphones were not charged and neither was my head torch again, I need to remember these just about every day. Still a good run, very cold out there.

Had a few grudgingly-impressed comments at work about my times, my new pb got posted on the work intranet so everyone has seen it. I joked I had an electric scooter tucked under my jumper that I used for part of the run.

Ah thing two has chickenpox again! I took him swimming yesterday, got him undressed and he had quite a few spots, so I wrapped him up and brought him home again. Clare took him to the doctor today and yes it's definitely that. He was a bit blotchy at the weekend, and we event saw a doctor, but the eczma flare up disguised anything else. Now that has settled down the chickenpox are out in force. So no school for him this week, no work for Clare, and a walk home from school on his own for thing one.

I should definitely get an electric scooter. I started to think of a few things recently that would be made easier if I had one:

I have spent more than expected this month, I was doing ok last week and was probably a bit extravagant with going out for dinner and buying those IKEA lights. Should have waited until the end of the month. If I take it easy for the next ten days or so then there will be plenty of money for a scooter come (profit share) pay day.
