Blog2020 ≫ Runuary is well on track

Day two of Runuary, and I went out again1. A bit earlier than a normal lunch run, as I'm working at home but suddenly realised my laptop wasn't charging. Thought I'd have to go into the office so grabbed my shorts and went out first. However it was not the laptop charger that was faulty, must be the wall socket here in the dining room. Moved the computer to another and all is OK. Except it's not really OK as now I have to replace this wall socket.

Hoped to find a good one that has USB C in the socket itself but not sure I can find a reliable one with good reviews yet. This is the sort of thing I want2, indeed it's the sort of thing I have right now, that has failed. It's getting a reliable make with consistent good reviews.

Now I'm looking at sockets with built in bluetooth speakers3 again. Daft, but fun. Might be good combined with a speaking raspberry pi to give me reminders as I'm heading out the door, or while lying in bed. I like the idea more and more of a non visual interface on things. Not sure if it is my cataracts making me think of such things, or the cool audio queues I get from my new Garmin watch while I'm running.

runuary: Running at least 5k every day for all of January.

raspberry pi: Credit card sized super cheap computer, awesome.
