Thing two has been doing some baking, they made Anzac Biscuits1 while I was out. And they made them vegan, and they are delicious.
The amount of vegan food in the supermarkets these days is quite overwhelming. I got some Southern Fried Grills today, these used to be a staple, I had them about twice a week when Linda McCartney did them in the late '90s. But then they mysteriously vanished from the shelves. These new ones are from Tesco, not Linda McCartney, and I'm looking forward to them for my tea. I could even have got some schnitzel thing in the "bargain clear out short shelf life", that is a real win when you find something you want there. But I wanted the Southern Fried Grills more.
