Blog2019 ≫ Remember to charge the fitbit before going on a long run

Gah fitbit must not have been charged, it turned itself off 1km into my long run today. I ran to the light railway, then back to Folkestone Harbour1 and I make that over eight miles. But I get no credit for it! I will not even hit 10,000 steps for today now.

The new / old Garmin watch was also not charged, I've broken the charging clip somehow. There's a spring that makes it grip the watch while it charges and it has popped out. I like this Garmin watch, it makes me feel like a pro. I found I can get a hefty 25% discount on Garmin watches because of the Great South Run entry. Sounded good, but the watch I'm interested in is about 30% more on the Garmin website than I can get it elsewhere. I can get a freebie from two other sponsors, a free coffee from Greggs and a free burger from Nandos.
