Blog2019 ≫ Actually broken the Garmin charger now

That's the reason the new / old Garmin fitness tracker watch battery didn't charge, the clip that holds the charger on is broken. I must have dropped it. This makes the watch useless so I will have to bin it I think. It only cost me a fiver, but still I've only used it twice. That makes it nearly as bad value as the treadmill!

I did see a "pay in installments" free credit on the watch I'm interested in at some point, but it's disappeared now. I do have some money put by for it, and am well on top of other things, have some money put by for christmas etc, but it would feel like a win to get it without having to lay out all the money at once. I will search, maybe there are subtle differences in the model and there's free credit on one of the less popular ones. That sounds like my style.

UPDATE: I bought a replacement charger on ebay. I still want a new watch and may not use this much but it would be a shame just to throw this one away because I couldn't charge it.

Oh sad day if I did not already say - it's officially long trousers weather. I put my shorts away on Saturday night, and am in trousers again today.

Will be running at lunch, running shorts again for that of course, but the leisure shorts may not make it out again this year.

Sad day again: I just removed Glastonbury from my holiday reminders1. We're looking at other festival options but I can see it not happening now, nothing else compares favourably with Glastonbury.
