Blog2019 ≫ Kent test today

Earlier start today for the Kent Test for thing one. This is the first shot at deciding if he gets into grammar school or not. The school are laying on a free breakfast club this morning, not sure why, but we have to get the boy into school a bit early. Then he has various tests today, verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, maths, something else? We're keeping the day normal today, no last minute revision, and keeping our fingers crossed. Good luck mate!

This means I have three school runs to do today, so won't be short of steps. Wondering about abandoning my step count as now I'm running I know I'm getting plenty enough exercise each day. I think I might add my resting heart rate to my graph, as I had a look at that yesterday. I remember a while ago thinking "my resting heart rate is about the same as my weight in kilograms", so in the mid sixties, and it had been falling gradually as I had been exercising more. Now it is down to fifty bpm. Soon I'll be able to stop my heart at will, like a ninja. I've added it as the pink line on the graph now.

Surely my "very active minutes" value for yesterday is not right? It's the worst one this week. I went for a cross-country run at lunch!

Thing two has lost another tooth, it came out when we were brushing last night. He is now more gaps than teeth, and he has another wobbler.
