Blog2019 ≫ This den is still not done

I sort of have a roof on the shed, it is just about weatherproof. As long as there is no rain, or wind. My drill gave up part way through the job, it's been on its way out for a while. I thought some overnight charging of the batteries might do the job, but no. Had the brainwave that the Dremel could do the drilling for me, but it can't do the screwdriving. Started trying to do that bit by hand but there's just too much. I looked around for drill bargains online, but it was looking like an expensive job still. Getting worried that the repairs to the shed are going to cost me more than actually buying a log cabin for the garden, but I got an end of line discontinued bargain drill for £32 that will just about do the job. Lost a bit of time doing this, so by the end of the weekend I have the plywood roof mostly in place, not fully screwed down so can't attach the felt yet, so have put the old roof on top of the new roof for now. Yeah, bit of a bodge...
