Blog2017 ≫ Caffe Nero

⬆️Great weekend in London: day two

This was the scene of the crime as it turns out... Just seen the Lego Disco Batman sets that we got free in store are going for twenty quid1, and here in Caffe Nero was where the boys ripped the bags open to put them together. Oops. We'd not have sold them though. We stopped in here for a little break as we couldn't go in a pub. Was nice to just sit and relax round the table. We could see a blue plaque from where we were sat that mentioned Charles Dickens working in what is now the TGI Friday, I found out later that this was the site of the boot-blacking factory he worked in as a boy. There are Dickens blue plaques everywhere though, you can't move for them even down here in Folkestone and Sandgate.
