Blog2016 ≫ Was thinking I'd like some vintage car window stickers for the Beetle

Not sure if such a thing exists, nor if I really want them or it'd be a gag that wore thin really quickly. Something like those smurfs ones we got free with petrol in about 1980, or 1970s National Trust or Radio One Road Show stickers. Well anyway I just found one in an old box of rubbish, from the Bat and Ball, Sarisbury Green. It's definitely vintage, and unused, but I'm not so sure I want it dirtying up the windows now. Maybe.

Seems the Bat and Ball is gone now. It was at 170 Bridge Road, Sarisbury Green, and was originally the New Inn until 1984 when it was acquired by Whitbread and renamed. Not sure when it closed, but I can't spot a pub like building on google street view now.
