Blog2016 ≫ A day in today

Been working on Thing one's homework most of the day! First finding some materials to make an iron age hill fort, which involved emptying boxes and being distracted by the contents. Finally got enough stuff, so I've been helping with cutting and glueing and things, it's been great, and I think it's going to turn out really well. Here's a sneak preview I hope, otherwise it's in with my other photos for this month:

Didn't plan for a complete day in but after that was done we wrapped up ready to go out on bikes for a bit. And it's raining now. So we're staying in a bit longer, and they're watching Gladiators on TV while I work on number two son's birthday thank you card. When Clare comes in from work in a bit then I'm going out for a walk. Have kept up my 10,000 steps every day but one since losing my fitbit. On the day we drove back from Mum and Dad's I couldn't do it but every day since then has been good. Going to walk to the Potting Shed again.

5k: Five km, just over three miles in old money.
