After dinner Mum and Dad took the boys back on the bus so Clare and I could shop a bit. Clare was particularly keen to explore the bargains of Gunwharf, and I don't mind to be honest it's a pleasant place to shop. When we think that Ashford outlet is probably the equivalent round here, Portsmouth wins this hands down. Clare bought some Ugg boots and I bought her a coat and we even chose me a top, from North Face maybe? It's saved as a christmas present anyway.
We went for a beer in the Customs House before getting the train back again, just enough walking to get our steps in for the day.
