Blog2016 ≫ Great meal at Zizzi

⬆️Good birthday weekend for Number two son

We booked Zizzi in advance. Weren't sure where to go as the same old chains can get a bit boring, but somehow Clare discovered the new vegan menu at Zizzi. As well as all the dishes being marked out clearly on the main menu with what is suitable and what is not, there's a whole other menu with special dishes on it. I had a starter of bruschetta, then a HUMUNGOUS pizza with some fake cheese, and even a pudding, a sweet calzone with banana and blueberry in like they used to do in Escondido a long time ago. The wine was also good and clearly marked as being vegan too. I love it that vegan is trendy at the moment it is making it so easy... Everyone had a good meal, Things two ate his pasta and Thing one said it was the best pizza ever. Think he had extra ham and pepperoni. Not quite so vegan then. Clare had the chicken skewer that hangs down over the plate. It's everyone's new favourite, think we're going to the Canterbury branch this weekend.

Best of all Mum and Dad had enough Tesco vouchers to cover the whole bill, all we paid for was the wine.
