Blog2015 ≫ J Lyman of the 16th Lancashire Fusiliers

Still looking for James Lyman, still no luck, but I have found a J Lyman on this Salford war memorial1. Our James Lyman must have been born before 1870, which would put him in his 40's during the first world war, not sure how likely is that that could be him.

This memorial2 says there was a J Lyman of the 2nd East Lancashire Regiment "from the mills".
