Blog2015 ≫ Was certainly regretting not not drinking last night this morning

Does that make sense? I decided to not drink in January (do they call it dryanuary? Is that where tryanuary came from?) and to actually start on the 1st January. Even though Pauline's funeral was the next day, and there was a wake at The Grand in Folkestone. Lots of Clare's family visiting from all over the place, to celebrate the life of Pauline. I didn't drink at the wake, but then there was a night out planned at The Ship with all of the Irish contingent. I was going to stay home, let Clare go, and be good, but I got talked into going out. I had a great time, so nice to chat with everyone, but I had quite a lot of wine in the pub (why didn't I drink sensible ale instead?) so had a bit of a head this morning.

Feeling good again now, so do I start dryanuary from now? Or from Monday like Clare is?

Looking forward to Febrewery. Not sure what form it will take yet, but some sort of beer themed month. Maybe brewing, my home brew is all gone I need to start a new one.

dryanuary: Not drinking for the month of January.
