Blog2015 ≫ New Years Resolutions

As I mentioned possibly going to miss out on tryanuary if I take a few weeks off drinking, but what about other new years resolutions? I have kind of set myself one for the past few years, a ridiculous one, that finally paid off last year (I think). I resolved not to buy any new clothes for a year. I have an absolute tonne of clothes, and even though they're mostly trampy and old, they're perfectly fine. In my opinion. In previous years when I've tried this I've ended up having to buy something new for a wedding or party or whatever. Last year I think I nearly managed but then ended up getting some trousers from White Stuff outlet at Gun Wharf. This year I am pretty sure I managed it.

There's only a tiny cheat here, I did get new socks and a top for christmas from Clare and some pants and pyjamas from Mum and Dad, but that doesn't count, does it?

My resolution was not about being mean or trampish, it's about not needing quite so much stuff, not wanting to constantly replace the things I own. I'm sure one of the biggest environmental issues is not lack of recycling, but lack of reuse.

This year I'm going to be even more green than before, if that is possible.
