Bah tube strike...

I'm in London now, at FOWA1 (guess there was no need to say FOWA 2010. It's afternoon tea break and I'm waiting for two more talks, one on emotional interface design and then another (the third today) on HTML5. Been OK so far, aimed more at a managerial / business owner level than a techie I would say, but some interesting food for thought. There's a tube strike2 today, so had to walk across town from St Pancras station to get here3, but it was OK. It's a two dayer, so I have a rare opportunity to be staying overnight in London, and got a free drinks thing to go to too, but instead I feel like heading to the hotel and just getting some sleep! How disappointed would the ten years younger me be in me today? Here with several people from work, so will be socialising with them (assuming they want me to) but won't be having a big night...

Next talk is starting... Hmm, the second one today from MailChimp4, who are one of the sponsors...
