Blog2010 ≫ Surprised at how much snow is around

Train home seems to have been a better bet than car though.

A good couple of inches of really nice snow on the ground here, everything looks lovely. It luckily didn't cause any problems with the trains but everyone was leaving work early because of concerns about the roads. I was home in half an hour door to door, looking like a snow man though as I was walking into it all the way from the station. All the roads I walked along were at a standstill, including (Shornecliffe Road and Earls Avenue) as I think I heard the M20 and the A20 were closed because of the snow so everyone was looking for another way.
