Blog2007 ≫ Charles V. Clarke

Hi there ~ I've been going through some of my Grandmother's items and have found a badly deteriorating copy of a page from the Hampshire Post, 19 April, 1912. On the outside of the envelope it has been stored in, is noted ,Titanic Disaster ~ Mother's Cousin went down. It is my Grandmother's writing, so I assume she means her Mother, whose maiden name was Wheadon, if I'm remembering correctly. My grandmother did have a brother 'Valentine Crow' which is part of the reason the Clarke name caught my eye. Also, her family was from England. Any idea if there is a connection? Thanks in advance!
