That's in reference to my new bookmark The Passingham Family Blog: May 2006 Archives 1 there is it? I saw our Edward Windebank (son of John Windebank) was born in 1847, so it sounded pretty good to me, but I can't tell if the thing they've transcribed 1 is saying 1847 is his year of birth, or if it is the year of the marriage... I suspect it's the latter, and that there's no connection, shame. What do you reckon? I might get in touch with those Passinghams and see.
MARY ANN PASSINGHAM married EDWARD WINDEBANK - 1847 - FARLINGTON - is that his date of birth (might be our Edward Windebank then) or the date of the marriage?
Hmm, if you look at all of our records for 1847 2, we have Edward's brother Walter Windebank being born that year too, so might there be a mistake somewhere?
ALSO, while I am slacking off here and not job seeking, I found this old message board post 3 regarding the Tribe family, sounds to me we are likely to be connected to the same roots as those people, we have links to those names and places. I tried to email them, but because those messages were posted six or seven years ago now, the email addresses aren't valid, and they bounced back. Doh! If you have any old emails and that from people who thought they might be related to ours, they might be worth revisiting. I'm going to check for old posts on here...
