a transcription of Hambledon marriage records1, has a mention of William Tee marrying Lucy Windebank, they sound like ours. This is from the "other" time the Windebank family crosses with ours. Same page also has:
page 60 no 180 George EARWAKER of the parish of Hambledon & Jane WINDEBANK of the parish of Hambledon also, by banns 21 May 1831 in the presence of Peter LONG & Wm MERRETT
and
page 43 no 127 George SEALL of the parish of Hambledon & Ann TEE of the parish of Hambledon also, by banns 07 February 1826 in the presence of Stuart LIPSCOMB & Wm MERRETT
Don't know if there's any connection there though. Also, googling, I found a Windebank playing cricket for Hampshire[/google], a generation before this, I will investigate more. Cricket match records seem to be a good source.
