Patrick McGuinness comes to the LCH

FG ≫ 2006 ≫ Patrick McGuinness comes to the LCH

Paddy McGuinness1 star of Max and Paddy's Road To Nowhere2 and Phoenix Nights2 brings his show to the Leas Cliff Hall on Monday September 25th. This is apparently your last chance to catch Paddy live on his first solo tour before the DVD is released and he hang up the mic for a wee while... Last chance / first tour / last tour / eh? It's got to be worth a look, though bear in mind it's a 16s and over show, sound like there might be a bit of blue for the dads! Also, I know what you're going to ask, and yes Peter Kay has spontaneously joined him on stage before. This was probably up North though, can't see him trecking all the way down to the coast.

This is my site The Folkestone Gerald that I built in a fury of excitement when I first came to Folkestone sometime in 2004. I'd been a frequent visitor for a while previous to that but I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get nowadays. This site was updated more frequently with a calendar of events + voting for favourite venues + things, and I know it was a handy resource for those who were thinking of moving here. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though just a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much love as it used to. Ironic really as The town is now becoming the exciting place we knew it was just about to. My name is not Gerald BTW, the name comes from a pretend paper in an episode of Brasseye or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are GRATE aren't they? Do get in touch if you have anything to contribute, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on Twitter.
