Hi Sue, They were issued in the 1st world war(a total of 1355).Try the CWGC web site. There are five Robert Clarke's all killed in 1915.One was an Able Seaman the rest were all Privates. The link is cwgc.org1. There are thousands of Clarke's listed between both wars.
